Minutes of the General Body Meeting of ISNR

Dr. N.K. Mishra objected to aming the societies jointely and explained the difficulties of holding a separate meeting of ISNR with the ISVIR.

Dr. N.K. Mishra / Dr. Harsh Mahajan were requested to transfer the account of the Delhi meeting to ISNR immediately.

Dr. P.N. Jayakumar introduced the subject and appraised the members that nearly 3000 registration forms has been sent to different member of IRIA and only 26 members have enrolled.

Dr. Harsh Mahajan wanted details about the 'State chapter' contribution of ISNR. He suggested that the savings needed to be in a 'fixed deposit' and he interest of it could be used for society expenses.
Dr. Harsh Mahajan pointed out that every invited faculty should be same treatment as given the foreign faculty in terms of stay, registration and travel expenses in future conferences. Dr. Harsh Mahajan also raised that all the executive members should be given all the facilities like stay, travel. The society should not fund any faculty in future opined Dr.S. Desai and every member must register suggested Dr. A.K. Gupta. Dr. N.K. Mishra raised the point that all the Society executives be funded as in other societies.
Consensus : To drop this issue for the time being for further discussion in next GBM and should be sealed for 5 years. For the time being the issue can be dealt by the organising secretary. The President, General Secretary, Treasurer and Joint Secretary to be funded till a final decision is taken.

The resolution to form state chapters was passed. The state chapter was asked to provide the account (audited) update to the centre. It is decided that Karnataka state chapter should be formed in next few months.

Dr. P.N. Jayakumar informed that the official website of the society, 'ISNRonline.org' has been formed.

Dr. Harsh Mahajan to be honored in the next meeting for the logo preparation.

Mumbai - was decided as the next venue for the meeting. It was decided to hold a meeting separate from ISVIR at the same location with separate dates.

Dr. Jayakumar was entrusted to communicate with to WFNRS.

The executive was requested to decide on student and associate membership details.

The fixed asset of a conference was fixed as a maximum of 10% of the funds raised or one lakh whichever is lower. 25% of the saved money can be retained with the local organising committee for conduct of academic programmes at tee local/regional/state levels.

The newsletter should be started quarterly. The corpus for this newsletter should be raised 15% of the savings of the conference may go to corpus.

Midterm academic ISNR meeting may be considered at AIIMS. Dr. N.K. Mishra will be requested to hold the meeting. Dr. Harsh Mahajan has agreed to raise one lakh for the conference.
